Expand the Winter Village II
Classic-Town.net and Eurobricks invite you to create your own addition to the popular winter village subtheme that TLG has presented during the holiday season for the past three years.
As we enter the holiday season yet again, thoughts turn to fun and winter activities and where better to enjoy those than in your own Winter Village? So far, TLG has provided us with three places to visit, a lovely Winter Toy Shop, an equally inviting Winter Bakery and this year’s new Post Office, but wouldn’t it be nice to have an even larger Winter Village full of festive fun?
Well, now you can, by expanding the theme with your own Winter inspired creation!

In the Eurobricks Town Forum, SilentMode provides a first look at the newly released Winter Village Post Office (10122).

Brickshelf member, avante who is from Hong Kong enjoys building town creations and his latest building project known as the Modular Post Office made it real impressive at the end of the street corner and even complement the Cafe Corner and Grand Emporium buildings in an attractive manner.
This is such a grand post office
It has certainly made the Classic Town citizens feel very much appreciated after leaving the post office, especially after having to visit its well organised interior. You should do the same too.
With the missing post office building in the current City postal theme, Eurobricks member, benny has decided to design his very own Post Office and Service Station at the same time by integrating both iconic buildings together. Do not miss out on both buildings’ interior, as you will be surprised to find out that the loading bay and service bay are some great playing features.

Take a look at this US Postal Office that has distinct color schema of blue, red and white which represent the States mail service. There is even a mail sorting area in its interior for the staff to place the mails in the right boxes, for delivery later. Thanks to our new Eurobricks member, No Towel Lint for sharing it with us.
Eurobricks member, Rapseflaps has recently graduated from the Reviewers Academy and among his recent reviews, one of the notable Classic Town set ever released, was the small 1985 Classic Town, 6689 Post Station.
This incredible tiny looking post station is a wonderful addition of any Classic Town setup, where town citizens like this beautiful lady need to find her way to send her mail. With the trusty red bicycle, it’s not a surprise why the mails are always dispatched regularly.

Lego seems to like yellow for postal transportation, but they have not given us a post office for collection, sorting, and distribution of mail. Lucky for Eurobricks member Joebot, he has the perfect solution – a Yellow Post Office. With red roof pieces, interesting architecture, awnings, and traditional Lego colors, his creation seems to take on a Classic Town look and would be perfect for Lego’s latest postal truck and tranport plane.
