December 24: Christmas Layout

As our final “Coundown to Christmas” creation, the December 24 MOC is a Christmas Layout built by Eurobricks Belgium member Patje, in 2006. While he is building a new scene for 2008, there’s something really spectacular about this lighted creation that includes a number of truly outstanding elements. December 13: Snow Park

Lego town fan Higdon has built some outstanding town and city buildings, but his white winterland Snow Park is certainly a great creation to feature as part of our 2008 Christmas Countdown. Complete with an ice maze, sleigh ride, and snow slide for the kiddies, this Snow Park spells FUN for all who visit. But watch out, it even has an Abominable Snowman (AKA The Yeti)!

Alpine trains and quaint Christmas Towns always make great scenes for the holiday season. Lego train fan Szojka builds a large train diorama at the Telus World of Science, nicely blending MOCs with official Lego City sets.

Lego fan Moko has made many unique creations including this fabulous 2007 MOC, Father Christmas House, a great addition to Classic-Town.net’s Christmas Countdown. His creation certainly has the “festive-look” almost resembling a ginger bread house with snowman and Santa’s Sled.

With Christmas only 24 days away, Classic-Town.net launches its official COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS. As part of the Holiday Countdown, a Christmas, Holiday, or Winter MOC will be shared each day until Christmas. Starting with today, December 1, Piglet’s entry for a Collossal Castle Contest, Winter Traveller, is a nice wintery creation to start the countdown.
