Here’s something to brighten your day! Eric Badis (a.k.a. erockonvolks on flickr) has probably been inspired by LEGO’s own survey from a year or so ago which presented us with a transportation hub as one of the options for a future exclusive set. And instead of waiting, he’s decided to go for it and built this delightful monorail train for his own town.

Eric’s monorail is based on the popular Lynx Blue Line light rail which is a recent addition to Charlotte’s transit system and has proven to be a total success. Hopefully, LEGO are taking notes…
