Spanning over 6,400 km (or 4,000 miles), the construction of the Great Wall of China began in the 5th Century. Sections of the wall were originally constructed to protect the northern borders of China from fierce nomadic tribes from Central Asia, known as the Xiongnu. I am not sure of the latest wonders though, but this is one impressive wall which was used to combine 3 major states’ section which include Qin and Zhao, to combine the borders together as one, bt the tyrant King of Qin whom unified all warring states into one, eventually be the first Emperor of China.
