Dfenz builds an amazing Train Station and shares it with us on Eurobricks:
Some large MOCs hold back on the detail, but not this one. This is a huge SHIP (Seriously Huge Investment in Parts) and must be quite the labor of love for Dfenz. It was displayed at Dun Laoghaire (Dublin) model railway exhibition and you can see more pictures and join the discussion in this topic on Eurobricks.
Classic-Town.net is an ever-changing blog, and some of those changes take time. Unfortunately, that happened to mean that there was a lull in blogging this past month. A number of us were at Brickworld, where we were able to discuss how we want to move forward. There are a lot of exciting ideas in the works. Here is one of the ideas, a LUG Showcase.
We were fortunate enough to meet up with the members of KLUG, the Kenosha LEGO Users Group, at Brickworld. KLUG is new to the LUG scene, so between rounds of Heroica we decided to ask some questions that could help others trying to form a LUG. They aren’t just great people – they’re great builders, too. A number of their MOCs were nominated for awards at Brickworld. Unlike many other LUGs, KLUG is not entirely age-exclusive, with members welcoming their children to display MOCs alongside them.
