A little later than usual, but Classic-Town.net blogger and Eurobricks Fellow Cecilie continues the tradition of creating 8 x 8 vignettes for her Collectable Minifigures.

See all the vignettes in the Special Themes forum on Eurobricks.
What happens when The LEGO Group has a surplus of minifigs? They release an odd set like 9349 Fantasy and Historical Minifigures which Eurobricks member Pandora has reviewed for us:
Is this a Town set? Not necessarily. I mean, every Town needs a chimney sweep (if that’s what he is) and freaks that dress up as pirates and stuff. But, it’s a priceless review to check out, regardless of it’s theme. Pandora is an excellent reviewer, always giving a thorough review, but also bringing a wicked sense of humor! Check out the full review and add to the discussion on Eurobricks. You won’t regret it. It’s not just a review, but a way of life!
I can’t wait to see what flickr member tater-tots has in store with us with his park scene. There’s a boy riding his bike, a man taking a stroll, and a girl with her multi-coloured kite. Look at the ingenious use of fibre optic cable there!
It appears that there’s someone having a picnic, and the building in the background is nothing to sneeze at either. Check out the rest of tater-tots’ photos on his photostream.
Fellow Classic-Town blogger and local legend (Kiss-up? Me!? No way!) WhiteFang brings us a detailed review of the long-anticipated Series 4 of LEGO’s Minifigs – exclusively on Eurobricks!
I guess there’s no more excuses for delaying the hard choice – which Collectable Minifig from Series 4 will you be stocking up on? At least there’s solace in knowing that Fangy’s high-res close-ups of LEGO’s new 16 heroes should provide some help with that…
And while you’re at it – check out the Eurobricks Collectable Minifigures Series 3 Contest – there’s almost a week left until the deadline and who knows, you might just get a spectacular idea and win yourself one of these fellas!
It seems new MOCers are coming out of the woodwork right now! For his first MOC, SpacySmoke was inspired while waiting for his lunch at a Food Truck. Ready for whatever his customers ask for, SpacySmoke has fitted his truck with everything from hot water dispensers to his culinary trophy! The awning above the serving area folds down for transport, and, true to the original, there are skylight-vents on the roof.
SpacySmoke’s Eurobricks post has a ton more pictures, as well as pictures of the original truck.
It seems as though everyone is building hot rods recently, and a number of them are amazing! After de-marco’s diorama last month, I thought I’d be hard-pressed to find another one this quickly. Well, the El Diablo by -zenn is truly stunning. Check out the use of track links as running boards and other details such as the excellently built skull on the front.
-zenn says he built it for the 40th monthly LUGNuts challenge. Let him know what you think in his Eurobricks topic!
