Now that winter is upon us (at least for us on the Northern hemisphere…), don’t you just long for a trip to a more tropical climate, where you can relax by the pool? This waterpark built by Legopard sure makes me long for that… Just look at those palm trees, giving the tropical feel, and those lovely swimming pools to take a dip in when getting too hot. And I’m sure they have refreshing drinks and ice cream at the bar. There’s even some fun slides for the kids.
Now go tell Legopard what you think here.

LEGO’s own Haunted House may not actually fit with the modular standard, but moctown’s mini modular version sure fits with the mini modular standard. Not only that, but it’s a great mini version of this awesome set. He has taken som artistic freedom with it, and the result is really good. The colors look great, and the way he has portrayed the barricaded windows is lovely, not to mention the excellent front door.
Head on over to Eurobricks to tell moctown what you think!
Vincent Kessels has created a building compatible with the modular building standard that it’s fair to say will stand out from it’s neighbours. It’s a tower inspired by a real tower found in the Netherlands. I like the way the facade is made to illude some damage, and the spire is very well done. And the creative way to do the connection to neighbouring buildings works seamlessly.
Head on over to Eurobricks for more pictures, and to leave some feedback for Vincent.
Hoexbroe is a car genius, something he shows again and again and again with his amazing recreations of iconic vehicles. Just look at some of these beauties:
Recognize this one?
One of my personal favourites, a perfectly made 2CV:
I could post them all, that’s how great they are, but head on over to Eurobricks instead to see them all, including an Ecto-1 and a Delorean, and tell Hoexbroe what you think!
A little later than usual, but Classic-Town.net blogger and Eurobricks Fellow Cecilie continues the tradition of creating 8 x 8 vignettes for her Collectable Minifigures.

See all the vignettes in the Special Themes forum on Eurobricks.
Do your minifigs recycle? LegoJalex’ minifigs certainly do. He built this awesome recycling station for the Modular Madness contest, and that secured him a well deserved victory in the Parks and rec category. This has lots of funny little details, and even comes with a mini comic.
