Party at the beach

Friday, September 3rd, 2010

Our new Eurobricks History Regulator, I Scream Clone has done a marvellous vignette to showcase the entire LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 2 in this Life’s a beach creation. It’s really amazing having to see so many interesting expressions among these unique minifigures. Among the many fine details, I love the blue waves very much as the surfer approaches it.

Which scenes is your favourite?

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

Eurobricks Lady, Cecille has done it again with her new LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 2 Display! Earlier ago, she has done a great job on her Minifigures Series 1 Display, I am really glad she is back for more.

Lots of amazing new scenes to watch, especially seeing the Surfer taking on the waves, the Pharaoh throne and the Weightlifter training in the gym.

A Fun Way to Store Your Harry Potter Books

Friday, July 30th, 2010

I know this may not be a “Town” MOC, but it really was just too good to pass on blogging.  Flickr/MOCPages user (and Twin-LUG member) Garth Danielson has found a great new way to store his Harry Potter book series.  He has constructed a phenomenal set of bookends capturing many of the iconic scenes from the series.

He managed to incorporate 29 of the Minifigures into his creation along with some really cool features such as lighting and walls that open to reveal more scenes and characters.  Be sure to make the jump to either Flickr or MOCPages to give Garth some feedback on this great MOC.

Eurobricks newbie Klementina shared this lovely wedding scene. The elegant pagoda and simple street lamps are particularly attractive. More pictures and discussion on the forum.

Eurobricks member the inventor has posted a most topical MOC. Netherlands vs Spain in the World Cup final. Is the octopus right? Will Spain lift the cup or will the Netherlands prevail?

I love the action posing of all the figures and the simple details making an eye catching vig. The use of a flagpole as a vuvuzela is simple but effective.

What happened to my hairdo?

Monday, June 21st, 2010

This frantic lady is screaming for help but the rest of them are looking at her with a weird looking expression. I figured it must be her latest hairdo seems to resemble more like a big red clown wig instead of a stylish looking Hollywood Star. Check out this Hairdressing Parlor done by Brickshelf member, pepik.

The Winners of the Collectible LEGO Minifigs Series 1 Town Contest

Friday, June 11th, 2010

The Eurobricks/Classic-Town.net Collectible LEGO Minifigures Series 1 Town Building Contest has come to an end. I am proud to announce the lucky winners for this contest. Redcross and Fugazi created the Clown Dressing Room and Birthday Party to accommodate the Clown and their entries were indeed imaginative. As for Noodles140, his simplicity captures the right emotions for our daring Skater Boy. It’s not an easy feat for these winners to achieve victory.

Congratulations!!!

Congratulations!!!

Congratulations to all of you and to our participants whom have put in so much time and effort for this contest, I really appreciate it and I hope you will come back once more in the next sequel.
