Friends is all the rage these days, and Hoexbroe’s victorian houses is yet another example of how brightly colored bricks can be blended nicely in a city layout. There are lots of nice details to look at here, and even though the houses at first look almost identical except for the colors, they are far from so. Even the garage doors are all different. Be sure to also check out the awesome car in front of the blue house. Now that’s a beauty!
He has also added some cute little scenes with the Friends dolls, like this one, which is my personal favourite, the girls playing basketball.
Check out his topic on Eurobricks and tell him what you think! He has also recently added a fifth house.
The Friends reviewing frenzy continues on Eurobricks with Pandora reviewing the biggest set of the first wave of Friends sets: Olivia’s House. The set is packed with details and what you see on the outside in the picture below is just the start. The house features a full interior with very clever builds. And whereas the Friends line introduces some great new accessories, most of the interior detailing in the set is achieved with familiar LEGO pieces.

Henrik Hoexbroe has created a lovely diorama of a French town – Royville – in the 1960s. It features – among others – an art-deco style petrol station, a Citroën car dealer, a hotel, and a train station. It’s very much ‘alive’ because of the many little scenes and Henrik’s brilliant car MOCs.

Eurobricks member Honeybee presents ‘Ellington house’, a building with a particularly attractive colour scheme. A real eye-catcher is the living room bay window.

Want to see something truly unique, quaint, adorable and incredibly detailed and masterfully built? This is purely subjective, but in the opinion of this blogger, Derfel Cardarn’s LEGOPut Lane Houses embody all of these qualities:

A LEGO tribute to a tragic storm, Blake Baer’s MOC captures the damage and power of an amazing storm:
Blake has captured a lot of movement in the the trees and the waves. This is an excellent snapshot of a dynamic scene. Check out more pictures and join in the discussion on Eurobricks.
BlueBard brings us a new MOC that can only fall under one category: cute.
BlueBard has a knack for keeping classic nostalgia, but upgrading it to modern and sleek. There’s plenty of fun detail to discover in this little MOC, so check out more pics and join the discussion on Eurobricks.
Eurobricks member Alex54 brings us new pictures of his fantastic modular creations:
To start showing us how he-rebuilt all of his previous modular buildings and how he agonized over which scale to settle on, he’s brought us an in-depth history of his Yellow Modular House:
Alex takes scale very seriously and provides all of his reasoning and conclusions in a very in-depth discussion. He shares his experience so you can learn how to build a fantastic layout like his! The result truly is amazing…and so is his clever use of binoculars.
This project by wooootles (yeah, that is a lot of o’s) has been a long time in the making. Obviously, the effort was worth it.
I’m not sure how many apartments this complex contains, but it should provide ample housing for pretty much any LEGO tabletown. What’s even better is that the condominium is just one part of a sweet-looking town layout that wooootles has planned – so keep an eye out!
