Eurobricks member sonicstarlight shares an amazing modular creation with us:
Galaxy Diner and Empire Theater
This is a nice adaptation of the Town Plan art deco theater, upgrading it to modular and beefing up the art deco details. The diner itself is an expert creation filled with smart details and creative design. Check out more pics and join the discussion on Eurobricks. And look for more from sonicstarlight. He’s a busy builder with a lot of great MOCs out there. Check out sonicstarlight on Flickr.
Anyone can tell you that a classic date should include dinner and a show – and sonicstarlight has taken care of both in one shot.
Galaxy Octan Empire or vice versa? In any case, nice ad positioning!
Check out the entire set on Flickr to make sure there’d be seats for two available in the restaurant and the cinema. And speaking of checking out – how about that gorgeous Art Deco facade! The lively architecture, the great fonts (I’m sure at least one of these can easily become a new typeface) and the huge attention to detail give this MOC an incredibly realistic feel, and also turn it into one of my personal instant favourites.
Outstanding builder Brickbaron was busy before Brickcon2009 creating a collection of superb LEGO MOCs. Moulin Rouge is one of many based on a French windmill turned into a dance hall in 1886. If you are not familar with the Brickbaron’s work, make sure you check out his other creation on FlickR. He is truly a fantastic builder!
Eurobricks member, macrosbessa has unveiled its latest town creation for his recent LUG’s big event, 2nd TOMARLEGO. This huge grand classic Movie Theater has an ongoing movie premiere, where movie stars can be seen walking along the red carpet with the paparazzi taking glamorous shots of these stars.
While the back of the cinema building has it own unique beauty of its own for tourists to take pictures with the Ancient Woman sculpture that was there for many decades. Check out this great creation in Eurobricks LEGO Trains & Town forum.
Lego town builder Borda has created a number of nicely detailed building structures as part of a larger city layout. In addition to a Railway Station, Post Office, and Gas Station, his recent Theater is certainly impressive. The combination of orange, tan, and red bricks brings a unique and colorful addition to any city.
Our very own Eurobricks and Classic Town admin, Hinckley has done an superb modular Art Deco Movie Theater, which is far more incredible and massive than the exisiting 10184 Town Plan. The grand appearence and beauty is simply stunning. A great place to integrate to your current modular city and great addition to Classic Town. Our citizens will need a grand theater, especially with so many upcoming blockbusters.
