Service Station With A Classic Design

While perusing the Eurobricks Forums, I stumbled across a creation by Eurobricks user Sens1992 that oozes Classic Town goodness.  It’s a simple service station modeled after one of the newer Texaco service stations.  While I’ve seen a number of LEGO service stations in my day, its the details in this MOC that really make it stand out to me.  There’s the glass roof built using SNOT techniques.  The tiled floor in the convenience store area.  And the gas pump design could have found it’s way into a 1980′s LEGO set with no problem.  For me, this is the essence of Classic Town design.  It’s simple…yet packs in a whole bunch of little details that add to the playability.

I’m sure Sens1992 would appreciate feedback on this new MOC over on Eurobricks.  You can also find more pictures on his Flickr Photostream.
